Booking Policy

I. Cancelation by the participant

Registration is made in writing (via Google Forms or Whatsapp (+49 15161716130) and becomes binding for the participant upon receipt by Tshau Getaway. For me, it becomes binding upon written confirmation, including the invoice (sent via email).

Upon conclusion of the contract or receipt of the booking confirmation. A deposit of 20% of the travel price is due within two weeks after booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the arrival date. If the registration occurs less than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the full amount must be paid immediately.

If you want to cancel your booking you should contact me as soon as possible. Cancellation may not be possible depending on the timing of your request and is subject to the terms outlined in our cancellation policy.

There is a deposit to pay when booking (20% of full-price). If cancellation is done less than four weeks before the start of the retreat and we cannot resell your spot, no refund is given.

Please make sure you have travel insurance in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Our cancellation policy serves the purpose of covering the costs for our vendors as well as compensating us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your spot. 

II. Cancelation by Tshau Getaway

I may withdraw from the travel contract before the trip in the following cases:

  • Withdrawal in case of failure to meet the minimum number of participants: If the advertised minimum number of participants is not reached, and the booking confirmation for the trip indicates a minimum number of participants, I can terminate the travel contract no later than four weeks before the start of the trip. Payments already made by the participant will be refunded promptly. The minimum number is five participants.

  • Withdrawal in case of extraordinary circumstances: If the trip is rendered unfeasible due to force majeure (e.g., epidemics, severe weather, disasters, war) or an unreasonable risk to the participant, I can terminate the travel contract with immediate effect. Payments already made will be refunded, taking costs into account.

III. Payment Details and Deadlines

Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card. Detailed payment instructions will be provided in the booking confirmation email.

Payment Deadlines:

  • A deposit of 20% of the full travel price is due within two weeks after booking to secure your spot.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than four weeks before the arrival date (13-03-2025).

  • For bookings made less than four weeks before the arrival date, the full amount is due immediately upon confirmation.

Payment Confirmation: After each payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the participant, including a receipt for the transaction.
Late Payments: Late Payments: If the payment deadlines are not met after a prior warning, Tshau Getaway reserves the right to cancel the booking. In such cases, the participant may forfeit the deposit, and the cancellation policy will apply.

IV. Liability and Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and ensuring arrival at the retreat location. Tshau Getaway is not responsible for missed travel connections or delays caused by external factors.

Participation in surfing, yoga, and other activities is at the participant’s own risk. Tshau Getaway is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or damages occurring during the retreat. We recommend purchasing travel and health insurance.

V. Data Protection

All personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for retreat-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent.

VI. Severability Clause

The invalidity of individual provisions does not render the travel contract or the remaining provisions of the fine print invalid.
